Bits & Hits is a record label that specialises in reimagining nostalgic video game and fantasy music through lofi, piano, jazz, and guitar covers. Their pixel art animations draw from classic RPGs and timeless fantasy worlds, complementing the same cozy, immersive vibe as their music.
The label brings together four closely connected projects - Bits & Hits produce chill lofi for working, Fantasy Keys produce ambient piano, Feather Fall produce laid-back jazz, and Spell Tabs produce peaceful guitar - and together, they create calm, ambient, and cozy instrumentals.
Whether it’s lofi for deep focus at work, soft piano for sleep, lounge jazz for late-night vibes, or peaceful guitar to ease your soul, each cover and artist provides an immersive background listening experience, crafted to capture the feeling of stepping back into your favourite gaming and fantasy worlds, even when life gets in the way.

Because we genuinely love it! Some of the greatest music ever written comes from games and fantasy worlds. These soundtracks are carefully crafted to bring stories, characters, and unforgettable moments to life, which is why they leave such a lasting emotional impact on so many of us. But a problem we found is that they're written to serve a specific moment. One track might be perfect for an epic final battle, while the next is full of tension or heartbreak. These tracks are powerful, but it also means they aren't always ideal as everyday background music. That's where Bits & Hits comes in. We reimagine iconic gaming and fantasy music with a consistent atmosphere, so you can reconnect with the worlds you love while working, relaxing, sleeping, or doing any other day-to-day task. Our goal is to create music that feels nostalgic, immersive, and easy to listen to, even when life gets in the way. We hope you feel this through our music and animations!

No. All music and visual elements are 100% crafted by bits & hits signed artists, without the use of AI. Check out some of our behind the scenes shorts, community posts, or members' content to see our process!

When we began this channel back in 2022, AI video and music generation wasn’t close to capable of producing what we did. In fact, we started creating our pixel art animations even before the first viral video of Will Smith eating Spaghetti!
Our intention with our channel was to celebrate the games we love through music and handcrafted pixel art. We didn’t want to introduce personality to our channel since we didn’t see it as necessary to enjoy our work for what it is.
Obviously we couldn’t have anticipated that AI would become so advanced so quickly, and as such we never imagined the authenticity of our work was something we’d need to prove.
We understand why people ask the question today. AI has changed expectations, and it's reasonable for audiences to be sceptical. While those accusations can be discouraging given the amount of time, skill, and money that goes into every release, we don't blame anyone for asking.
Instead, we can only encourage people to look at the bigger picture before making accusations. We release our music on streaming platforms (which cannot be done without mechanical licences - something AI covers don’t qualify for), our upload schedule is consistent rather than impossibly frequent, we've developed a recognisable sound over many years, and we've begun sharing behind-the-scenes videos showing our creative process.
Our work has also been recognised by the studios behind the games we love. We've collaborated with Bethesda on the official Fallout lofi for the 2025 Fallout Day celebration, with Grinding Gear Games on Path of Exile 2 Lofi beats, and with Iron Gate Studio on Valheim Lofi beats. Those partnerships reflect the craftsmanship and authenticity we've always aimed to bring to our work.
We're going to continue to find new ways to be more transparent about how our work is made, whilst staying true to our intention of not letting personality interfere with our core product vision - reimaging your favourite fantasy worlds through immersive visuals and sounds from across different genres. -
Currently we release covers of video game & fantasy music in lofi, piano, jazz, guitar, and ambient styles!
